As a local private nonprofit organization, we have no national partner from which to obtain funds.  Consequently, we have to work hard to develop funding relationships with a variety of donors.  We have been a heart of Florida United Way member agency in good standing since 1969, receive local and state government funding, and are fortunate to have other private and individual contributors.

Because we are a private nonprofit, it remains a challenge to compete with larger, nationally affiliated organizations.  The great news however, is that 100% of our contributions go directly toward our mission of serving individuals in crisis.   Funders for the current fiscal year include

City of Altamonte Springs
Heart of Florida United Way
MacLeod Foundation
Orange County Government
Publix Supermarkets Charities
State of Florida Department of Children and Families
The Kimball Foundation
The Margaret and R Parks Williams Foundation
The Orlando Sentinel
The Ryan Foundation

We also rely heavily on the financial support of individuals who believe our mission to be important to the emotional well being of this community.

Many thanks to all those whose donations make our work here possible!
